"Overnight Stay"

Here overnight for a baseball tournament. Room overall is nice. Beds are definitely full sized, not queen. So sleeping is a bit tight. Only 3 towels in the room in a room that sleeps 4 so that was a bit silly. No blow dryer in the room - although it said it would come with one. A dog was barking at night, so again, not ideal. Apparently only brunch is served in the morning, even though online they have a full breakfast menu. Didn’t love that. Pool was small but temperature was nice. Overall it was a fine stay but don’t think I would stay here again.

"Everything works - except the lounge"

Overall this is a nice hotel. Ample parking. Check in was fast and friendly. Rooms are quite large and comfortable. No upgrade was provided despite our lifetime titanium status. Everything in the room was clean and everything worked. Exec lounge was closed - as most Marriots now do on weekends just to offend their most loyal customers. Every Marriott that does this should get some sort of discipline but overall Marriott brand management is now in favor of ownership and lower costs vs. guest comfort and convenience, so its not unexpected. Breakfast was average. Gym had good cardio equipment but almost zero weights.

Room was good but a little small, even for a king suite. Windows overlooked a metal roof which was disappointing. Bathroom near and clean with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Attached restaurant had decent pricing.
