Carlton George Hotel

I was given full price king size room next to a laundry trolley route and woken up by noisy trolleys at 6.55 am. When I complained at reception I was told that this only happens on a Thursday night and therefore it wouldn’t be a problem for the Friday night stay. They didn’t clean my room that day either because of my complaint, although they did replenish the fridge. I’d rather have a good nights sleep. I wrote to the company by email and they haven’t bothered to respond. Poor service.

Location great, on walking distance to train, shops and restaurants. Bed very comfortable and excellent welcome.

The hotel and the rooms were stunning decorated to an exceptional standard.

just over priced for 3 juice 2 cans of gin and 2 beers. Was not update about changes to the decanter in the Room. Bedroom window did not open
