The hotel is a convenient stopping off point when transmitting from Spanish ports to Portugal. Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and really hard working

Erg koud en harde muziek in het restaurant. Parkeren is een uitdaging: lastig want krap en plantenbakken staan in de weg.

The property was modern and what you might expect from a commercial hotel

The shower tray was split. The restaurant was closed when we arrived and did not open until 7.30pm. Very small car park.

On arrival, I was met by the most sour and objectionable check-in clerk, who said that he had no knowledge of my booking and would I stand aside and let my friends check-in. I presented a Booking.com paper confirming my reservation, which seemed to present him with other issues. “Anyone could have written this” he said. I suggested that as I had been side-stepped for almost 45 minutes, I try to find another hotel. “Don’t worry he says, I’m sure we can resolve things, but he dragged the matter out for a further 15 minutes, until a lady member of staff interrupted him and said that my name was on her list. “Oh, so it is and it’s on my list also, but there is an incorrect spelling.”. I was boiling with rage, which I kept in check, but I had great difficulty in sleeping that night, due to the pent-up anger and I will most certainly never return to this hotel.

No food available for me at breakfast & limited dinner items ! I made enquires about Gluten Free & they advised me it can be arranged it wasnt
