Beds were comfy enough but not great

Huge termite problem, tub didnt drain for the entire two days we stayed, heard as I was checking in, another guest had a roach problem

Tv didn't work, violet did not have a flush handle

It was dirty, there were roaches, plumbing did not work properly, paint was peeling off the walls, rust on all metal parts, lousy TV with very poor signal. All in all it was a very bad place that probably shouldn’t even be open.

Everything could have been and should have been better

I am writing to share our experience at Days Inn by Wyndham St. Petersburg following a one-night stay. I would give 0 stars if I could. Thank god it was only one night! Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing and concerning. Upon arrival and during the night: At approximately 12:00 a.m., we killed nine bugs in our room and saw at least two others that we were unable to catch. When we went to the front desk to request a room change, we were informed that our room was already scheduled for extermination the following morning because it was a known issue. Despite this, the room had been rented to us. Room relocation experience: We were moved to another room at approximately 1:30 a.m. During the process, the front desk staff made a comment implying we were “lazy” for requesting a first-floor room rather than a second-floor room. I was traveling with a suitcase weighing over 60 pounds (half filled with tools for a home project), and the property does not have an elevator. The request for a first-floor room was practical, not unreasonable. Condition of the second room: Popcorn and part of its wrapper were left on the floor. The air conditioner leaked water onto the floor. The toilet ran extremely loudly throughout the entire night (photo available). There was no garbage can provided; we had to use the ice bucket for trash. Although we initially did not see bugs in this room, we killed two more the following morning. Additional note: The room next door played loud music and had very loud conversations until approximately 4:30 a.m. (While this may not be directly the hotel’s fault, it added to an already unpleasant experience.) While the hotel manager ultimately refunded our stay, the refund does not change the fact that we were placed in a room that was known to have a pest issue and scheduled for extermination. That should never happen, and was the least she could do.
