The price a bit high

We are on the Move again skiing in Stowe!!!! Booked a 3 night stay at The Gray Fox Inn...(first time at this resort). We were so pleased with the professionalism and the Friendly greeting by Rob. He called me with a "courtesy call" to say that our Room was ready. We stayed in Room 16, which was downstairs of the Inn, BUT was Great! It has 2 rooms, separated a bit, living room with Nice furniture (sofa, chair, and desk with refrigerator, and microwave) and Very large Bedroom with King size bed and Large sliding door. That door brought in a lot of light!!! Bathroom on the small side, BUT Awesome shower! The Room was SPOTLESS!!! We relaxed and watched the Olympics after a FUN, WINTER WONDERLAND day of Skiing! Wanted to give a Shout-out to Rob who greeted us to check in, and every morning before and after skiing! A shout-out to Melissa who is the House keeper that cleaned our room! We had a Very Positive experience at The Gray Fox Inn!

Pizza and food left in the refrigerator from previous guests. Kitchenette poorly appointed with nonfictional pans, and dirty plastic cups. Hot tub broken one night, never got above 90. Pool and hot tub area closed on Thursday morning of the stay before we left. I pointed out these issues to Melissa- the on call manager - who was extremely rude and told both my husband and I the pool was out of her control and that we should call Expedia if we want anything else… We’ve stayed here before and experienced better care… I don’t know if we’ll stay here again, lots of options in Stowe. When the amenities do work and the managers are caring, it’s great, but it is a 50/50.
