"Just like home"

It always feels like home. We were coming back for surgery for a second time since November. The front desk remembered us which was not expected. My husband likes the room extremely warm and the night attendant, Chris, truly went out of his way with extra blankets and said we can try this and that. It worked! and it was a comfortable 75 degrees. The next morning, after surgery, my husband wasn’t up to walking downstairs for breakfast. I went downstairs myself and made plates but thought I couldn’t carry it without spilling the food. I asked the breakfast attendant if he had a tray I could borrow he said yes and even said he could follow me with a cart if I preferred. When I said the tray can work and I’ll bring it back down. He smiled and said just leave it in the room and housekeeping brings it back! Wow!
