"Home away from home"

Staying for several days over Christmas can be overwhelming but it wasn't! The decor was wonderful, warm and inviting. It seemed like they took advantage of every nook and cranny to tuck a Christmas decoration. I especially loved the 2 moose in the sleigh and Santa's picture on the wall. Wow!

"I was very glad to have a safe and comfortable place to stay, and glad they are pet friendly."

The room was very clean and comfortable. I was given a ground floor room, just as I had requested, and my room was not very far from the exit door, which was convenient for walking my dog. The TV was gigantic, and selection of available shows and movies was very good. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of towels were provided, and there was a coffee/tea machine in the room. There was also a free (I believe) continental breakfast included, but I didn't take advantage of that because breakfast was waiting for me at my daughter's house.

There was no way to regulate the heat in the room, and it was too hot for me. I called the front desk, and they said I should turn on the air conditioning, which I did, but that was quite loud, so I turned it off after a while, but then woke up in the middle of the night roasting again. There should be easy to access and easy to operate thermostats in each room. Also, the decor in the lobby could be updated. I thought it was weird and very old fashioned.
