I liked Palm Coast the town

Staff was rude, unhelpful, insulting & even threatening. My stay was supposed to be for a week & this place that's run like a 3rd world banana Republic dumpster fire took issue with me wanting some extra coffee packets for my room & 1 extra roll of toilet paper. These people even raised their voice to me & threatened to come into my room even when I told them I did not want them in my room & had a do not disturb sign on the door. Ridiculous experience.

Let’s start with all the problems found within the first day: Day 1: • The handicap doors don’t work so carrying in a child and luggage was challenging. • The luggage carts had flat tires. • When we walked into the lobby, it looked completely different from what Booking.com shows. I said to my wife several times, “Am I getting punked? Because these pictures don’t match at all.” • The hotel reeks of marijuana! • The rooms were so filthy, we bought Lysol and wipes to make our stay more manageable. •The shower head almost came off when adjusting the setting. • The water pressure was so low, it made a trickle look like a flood. • There was blood stains on the sheets • hairs all over the mattress, in the towels, and all over the shower. Day 2: • Dogs were barking up and down the halls. Not the wake-up call we wanted or deserved. • The AC stopped working • This older female from house keeping decided she wanted to make waffles for everyone instead of letting people do it their self. I get she was being what she thought was “helpful” but it was just annoying. The department of health needs to come in for breakfast, because management doesn’t understand the “hot stuff says hot” and “cold stuff needs to be cold” rules. They straight up just had a plate of hard boiled eggs without any temperature protection. EW! • The straw that broke the camels back was the cockroach we found crawling on my luggage and in my bed. I brought up the squished cockroach to the front desk and the lady offered me another room instead of the refund I demanded. We decided to check out a day early because of how terrible our experience was. We checked in to the Fairfield Hotel next door and it was a MUCH better experience than the sh!t hole we stayed at (Microtel)
