Rodeway Inn Columbus West

I liked the fact that you can check in like a drive thru and that the hotel was around several restaurants and stores. The hotel needs a serious upgrade! The furniture was old and had finger nail polish on it. Someone wrote on the walls. The side panels were coming off and there was hair on the towels and shower curtain. The shower curtain was also very dirty. People were barbecuing at midnight in front of the hotel. I would say never again!

For the very low cost of the room, I didn't expect too much..but, there wasn't a bucket for ice & the showers water didn't get hot.

I have stayed at this location a few times. The staff at the desk when I check in, as well as the housekeeping staff are super nice. I have done laundry in their facility and everything worked like it should have. They even have good water pressure in the room. I will continue to stay at this hotel any time I need a room. Its a great value for what you get

Paid and then was told I was too young to stay here

The property was terrible. The toilet seat was dirty. The bedspreads had blood stains and holes in them. Most of the light bulbs were out. The smoke detector had a plastic bag over. Did not stay longer than 5 minutes.

In the first room they gave me, the beds were made but the carpet was dirty, wet washcloths were on the tub, all the soap was open and used, and there was trash that hadn't been taken out. Also my reservation was for 1 bed and it was 2 full. I called the desk and he immediately gave me a new room, but said he had no King rooms, just 2 fulls. When I opened the new room it was cleaner, but the floor was very dirty and reeked of pot.(non-smoking room). I was stuck due to the cancellation rules but I didn't feel safe walking around barefoot. Also the TV was broken. The picture had a vertical bar for about a third of the screen. Won't be back. Honestly, this isn't this kind of hotel that should charge by the night.
