Reception staff were very nice

Key cards locked me out of the building at 1:30am for an hour until after hours staff were able to come let us in which was very unsafe in the area. Felt extremely unsafe and in danger with the situation and this was not explained or apologised for.

The location

The mould in the bathroom and the smell of the room.

My fave place to stay in Brisbane. Always a good view from rooms and a nice location, a short walk from Central station

It was during Magic Week - a busy week, which meant that prices were higher than usual I think

Room was clean.

The reception staff (a male) was rude. there was no signage on parking area. Parking area demonstrates the company is all about the money.

Staff were great, handled all issues that were brought up.

The room was outdated, stains on the carpet otherwise completely worn carpet, free wifi did not work, mouldy toaster and kettle, no room service. Basically got catfished by the commercial saying that it was a luxury hotel but ended up being put in one of the smaller rooms. First room was disgusting stains everywhere paint smell through out the room, when I got moved up a few floors I was put in a similar room which was also terrible but better than the first room. Was offered a free bottle of wine for compensation but never received that either. Ad said there would be all off these plus room service but was told at front counter that I booked an eco room which is not true as the booking didn’t state that I was being put in one of those. Allergies went off the charts as the aircon is dusty and filters have not been changed in what seems like years
