Room was very clean, the beds where nice

The location

I booked 2 rooms, they shared a door between them. That was excellent, we weren’t cut off from each other. That is where what I liked ended. What I didn’t like is a much longer list. 1) one room has a phone, the other doesn’t. However, the phone didn’t work. 2) the hot water didn’t work in one room. 3) the television had to be reset in one of the rooms. 4) one room had a microwave, the other did not. 5) the bathroom electric socket did not work in one room. 6) neither jacuzzi tub worked 7) when we asked for additional towels, we were told there weren’t any. Only to be told moments later that that we needed to find housekeeping to get more towels. Note, the front desk was rather rude when asking for the towels. 8) housekeeping supplied us with towels, after explaining that we needed to get to our event. 9) continental breakfast, it consisted of; gold fish crackers, miniature muffins, granola bars, bruised apples, coffee, orange juice, and apple juice. (Snacks not breakfast) 10) it is apparent that this establishment was a great place to stay, about 10 (+/-) years ago. It is definitely far beyond what it was. 11) furnishing are old and on their last leg (literally). The table lamps are retro, which I liked. 12) neither coffee pot worked, in the rooms. And they needed to be cleaned. 13) the door lock did not work in one room. 14) the chairs need cleaning or trashed. They are stained and dirty.

The location

The woman that says she was, the manager was very unprofessional then there was a young lady on a night shift that acted just like her. The gentlemen were all gentlemen and very professional.

Update the lamps with usb access

The value price of the room was appealing.

I specified for a non-smoking room, but the hallway reeked so badly of stale cigarette smoke my children and I had to cover our mouths and noses. The advertised pool was not open. The breakfast provided was packaged muffins and yogurt and a Nescafe machine for coffee. There was a whole dining area that was not open to guests.
