Breakfast cinnamon bun was warm and tasty… but all spoiled by a group in the hallway at 11 pm who talked loud even if they were in their own home. They were couples not kids.

We spent one night here, for a short weekend in Newport. The hotel was a quick and easy drive to Newport. The room was comfortable and clean, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Front desk is always respectful and willing to help with anything, rooms are always clean and on point everyday. A great experience at holiday Inn!!

Only needed a 1 night stay. The lobby is pleasant, coffee and refreshments free all day was very nice. The coffee was really good. It looks pretty tired at the end of summer season in Newport. Carpets in lobby and elevator grimy, but that is small stuff. No coffee maker in the room is ok with me, but the usb charger ports did not work. None of them worked. That was not good. Mattress and sheets ok, pillows came in soft and firm all on the same bed. These hotels always have mildew and rust in the bathrooms. This place needs a deep deep clean. Some hotels have been removing carpet and I like that but this room still had carpet. Fridge and micro were ok, and AC worked just fine. I handled it for 1 night but 2 nights would have too much for me. I was uncomfortable with the lack of cleanliness. Newport is a very expensive area but, I think they can do better with a deeper clean. Breakfast was the usual chain hotel, eggs, cereal, some kind of sausage or bacon. muffins, rolls and bread. coffee was exceptional for a hotel like this. i would not stay a second time.
