Holiday Inn Express Newport North - Middletown by IHG

Was not happy that there was black mold in the bathroom, a musty smell/feel that would not go away anf the fan in the bathroom did not work. The staff are great.

Noisy in the midnight from upper level; very limited supply food for the breakfast

After a 6 hour drive we were lucky to get an early check in. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was always fully stocked and delicious. There was a lot of things to do within a 10 minute drive. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. The rooms were very comfy and i loved the pillows so much I asked the manager where we could purchase. We would definitely go back!!

Hotel was nice. Close to main attractions. Water pressure in shower was low.

The outlets and charging stations on the wall in the room didn’t work. We didn’t realize until the last morning that there were additional charging outlets on the clock, that DID work.

The staff were great! It was close the beach and downtown about 15 mins. The coffee was excellent

Staff were welcoming. However we stayed in room 214. This room happens to be right above the front door where people hang out in the am and at night. Which was very loud making it hard to sleep. First breakfast, I went at 8:15. I had a meeting at 9 so I waited from 8:15 until 8:45 and there was no bacon or sausage. Which stinks because breakfast is over at 9:30. Night two I had asked for bedding for the pullout couch and I was told to come get it. Then when I picked it up in a plastic bag it was a sheet a pillow and half comforter. Then I opened the pull out couch and there was a huge red brown stain. When I sat down I can feel springs come through. I usually don’t ever complain but this was a mommy daughter trip and this was just really disappointing. I notified staff who apologized but did t really offer a solution.
