"Avoid if you can"

The hallways smelled like refuse. Trash bags were left behind in the hallways for hours. The rooms smelled dirty and dingy. Dishes in the rooms were dirty. Cost was the only good factor.

"Freshly Renovated Room and Excellent Service"

The property is currently undergoing a remodel, but our stay in Room 721 felt like we were in a brand-new space—very nicely done. Amy at the front desk was incredibly helpful and got us checked in quickly and without any issues. The complimentary breakfast was hearty and well-prepared—better than most "included with your stay" options. The only downside was that the pool was closed. The reason wasn’t clearly explained—something about signage and compliance—but this isn’t really a hotel where you’d be planning to lounge by the pool anyway. There’s plenty of food nearby. While walkability isn’t great, there are a few options within reach if you don’t have a car.

"Nightmare with false fire alarm"

During my stay, there was a fire alarm twice; I had to run out of the building in the middle of a shower. After 10 minutes outside, they announced it was a false alarm, but twice. Another thing is that whatever the next room or hotel kitchen cooked, I could smell and figure out what kind of food they were cooking. I reported to the front desk, and they said, “Oh, I'm sorry!!”

"Restless stay due to remodeling, no free parking"

We stayed here for 6 days. The first day we were waken up by remodeling noise upstairs, which we find unacceptable and if they are remodeling, they should not have the rooms subject to remodeling noise up for booking. They changed the room for us. The fourth day, we were again waken up by false fire alarm... Overall very restless stay. Another thing to complain is $15 of parking per day, which is really hard to accept in a place like Irvine.
