Close proximity to event location I was attending, friendly service

Didn't appear very clean, the room smelled funky (like urine), there were stains on the lampshades, coffee maker in the bathroom??

The free breakfast and comfortable rooms.

The key cards for the rooms kept stopping to work. We had to constantly ask customer service for new cards and to fix them.

"Unprofessional liar manager and roaches in my room..."

The breakfast was good. And there is a Denny's next door.

The manager. The roaches. So, the roaches. I was lied to about getting a refund for having this serious sanitation issue in my room. I took photos and informed the staff before checkout. They gave a backward story about needing to confirm with an exterminator despite the photos I had and dead bugs left in the room I killed. That entire claim is fishy and not the normal protocol. When I asked for clarity, the manager stormed off. They clearly had a personal issue and lack of patience and shouldn't be in a position of leadership. Upon leaving, the property called me and said the funds were released to Booking.com. When I contacted booking, they said they didn't receive any notification. I was lied to and still haven't received a refund. Any sensible person would want their money back in this situation. They literally have no common sense there. There is no logical reason to deny the refund. My original review was going to be about a 6 or 7 but specifically, because of this manager, I'm giving a 1. Wish I could give zero.
