Hyatt Regency Morristown

Location is spot on

Outside noise from some air conditioning system from the the cinema next door

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency for the first time. We were visiting from California to see my family who lives a little further north. We chose this hotel based on walkability of bars/restaurants/cafes and proximity to the highway that we needed to travel to see family. The lobby is pristine and hotel is beautifully renovated, modern and clean. We checked in Friday evening with Octavius - who was so welcoming and kind. Our room was on the 16th floor which was great. I consider my husband and I to be well traveled and to me, it is VERY rare that you find a hotel that has a comfortable bed, pillows and towels, Hyatt checked those boxes. (I even looked to see the brand of the pillows because they were that comfortable). The market downstairs has snacks, fresh coffee (Starbucks) and a mini to go menu. Lobby bar is also welcoming. We ate at Masseria our first night - incredible food and service. We first sat at the bar for apps then moved to the main dining area for dinner. Each dish we had was delicious. (Goat cheese & beet appetizer, chicken and veal parm entrees and of course tiramisu for dessert). Parkside Tavern, also attached to the hotel was a quaint bar that we had a beer at and watched some football, also highly recommend. We really had a great first time stay and look forward to coming back.

The location is great. If you are sensitive to noise when you sleep this may not be your hotel. The heater/air conditioner unit is very loud. They leave ear plugs for you to use on the bed side but not everyone can sleep with those. I was up all night.
