Wingate by Wyndham (Lexington, VA)

The pool area and rooms are super spacious and nice. Clean for the most part.

The hotel breakfast was AWFUL. They didn't refill anything after is was taken. When you ask for pool towels because there were none, they were very rude about giving you one.

Well kept. Front desk people were exceptional, everyone was VERY FRIENDLY. Nicely kept, good nights sleep. Fair price.

I was missing a very important stack of gift cards worth $300- 400. In Tennessee where realized I didn’t have them, I called the front desk and a woman who had a very strong accent, ( very difficult to understand ) answered the phone. When I finally got her to understand what I was saying, she promptly said “ Nothing there, room cleaned “ I ask if she could check the room, and a woman in the background immediately said “ just tell him NO” Very heartbreaking and frustrating. TWO DAYS later I received a telephone call from a current guest who was in the same room I had been ( 119 ). He was calling to ask me if I was missing something ??? There they were in the night stand, right where I had placed them. Hmmm ? This has me asking numerous questions about the staff you employ ???

No bed sheets, everywhere was was dirty. Restroom was really dirty and shower was clogged up
