Hotel du Vieux Quebec

The location was excellent. Our room was very nice and very clean. It was quiet despite overlooking the street one floor up from the lobby. Black out curtains were great. View of Christmas lights from our room was beautiful. We parked down by the Christmas Market with the skate rink. A closer parking was available if we had a sedan rather than an SUV. We did not use our vehicle because everything was so walkable. The hotel staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful.

All the reviews are true - the staff are so welcoming and polite. They were also accommodating with a later check out and baggage storage and use of the lounge after we checked out (we had a later flight). The room was beautiful and spacious with huge windows, a stone wall, super comfortable bed with 6 pillows and high quality sheets. It was squeaky clean and daily room service was also excellent. Lastly, it is in the BEST location - highly walkable to sights and restaurants, we loved it and will be back.

This is a fabulous boutique hotel very conveniently located on one of the main streets in Old Quebec City. The rooms are very comfortable, and housekeeping is exceptional. Everything is super clean. Beds are comfy, artwork throughout the hotel is beautiful, and the front desk staff are warm and welcoming. There is a puzzle room with a big table inside the large lounge that also features cozy seating, a nice hot beverage machine and a bowl of fresh fruit. We went for the first time in November 2024, and will be going back next week for the fourth time! No need to look elsewhere.

We recently visited the L’Hotel du Vieux-Quebec and stayed in the Quebec room which was in the basement. It was perfect! Large king room with a fireplace and wonderful shower. Absolutely loved the breakfast basket every morning left on our door and the coffee in the library room. The shining star was Pierrot! From the moment we walked in from a long day of travel and throughout our stay, he was a wealth of information presented warmly and efficiently. He was able to explain all of the necessities in about 45 seconds at check in and had us in our room within a couple of minutes. Great directions, recommendations, and advice throughout our stay. I am not sure what the other rooms are like but I would not hesitate to stay here again in the Quebec room! Perfection and hope to visit again soon!

Compact queen room was plenty big for our 6 day stay, with lots of surfaces for toiletries, and places for your clothes and luggage. Quiet and clean. Comfy bed. GREAT location in the center of Old Town. 24-hour lounge with gas fireplace, free coffee and fruit. Parking was extra but was convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay and look forwarding to returning on our next trip!

My friend and I had a super time in French Canada, and a super time at the Hotel du Vieux-Quebec. The hotel staff was friendly and super helpful. Every one I interacted with at the hotel was most gracious, talkative, and informed. The rooms are unique and checking in and checking out was very easy. Location great. I plan to stay at this hotel on any subsequent trips to Quebec. Thanks for making my trip memorable.

The hotel was amazing! Beautiful room, clean modern finishes, comfortable bed and pillows, great location, and wonderful front desk service. We couldn’t have asked for more. This was our first time to Old Quebec City, and we plan to come back. When we do, Hotel de Vieux is where we want to stay. Thank you to the hotel for the available coffee and cappuccino, day or night, that was an added bonus.
