Hotel du Vieux Quebec

Loved everything about this hotel. Location is great. Walking distance from everything, including the Gare du Palais if you don't mind a steep climb. My husband and I managed and we are Senoirs. Helpful staff, nice lounge with a great coffee machine. The breakfast picnic basket is the perfect start to the day. Bistro Hotus served an excellent dinner.

I can not say enough about how wonderful this hotel was. It is centrally located within walking distance of everything. The rooms wer clean, well maintained and very comfortable. We opted for the breakfast and was delighted that we did! They leave a beautiful basket on your door every morning with orange juice, yougurts and and cheese and jams. They also have the most amazing baked goods in the basket. Delicious (that's an understatement) croissants and a different pastry daily are also in the basket. The staff was very helpful with everything we needed, I was concerned initially in booking a boutique hotel and I am thrilled that I did. I usually don't write reviews, but my experience was so wonderful that I felt they deserved it!

Great staff location is perfect

Perfect short vacation spot friendly staff conveniently located near some of the best restaurants, bars and sights. Spotlessly clean and a true European ambiance loved it

Great hotel with a very nice location. The room was quiet (211). The front desk person was very nice and had good suggestions for restaurants. We especially liked the art in the hotel.

We had a very nice stay - the hotel is in a great location. Only one complaint - the welcoming staff was very friendly and advised us that we would receive a breakfast basket at 7:00am the next morning. We thought that was a very nice touch and were looking forward to it. To my surprise, there was nothing there when I woke up and checked at 7:45. I went to the front desk to ask why we had not received the basket and was told by a not-so-friendly gentleman that we did not order one and that, because we had booked with Expedia, it was not included in our booking. Too bad - would have been nothing but great had it not been for that customer service faux pas.

Old historic atmosphere with all modern amenities.

Very nice property in the middle of a bustling street lined with shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful and room was very spacious, clean with good amenities. Only thing that was lacking was the gym. Hotel was close to many of the popular sites in Old Quebec.

This Hotel exceeded all our expectations! A true gem in the heart of Old Quebec City!
