Richmond Marriott Short Pump

Breakfast was great and morning wait staff was also very good. Everything seemed pretty clean. Front desk was very accomidating and helpful. Cleaning staff was good.

In room 212-The workmanship on the bathroom was not very good. The caulking was very messy and the whole sink area looked like it could fall off the wall. The water would not drain in the sink because it was not installed in the correct angle to do that. In the evening I went down to the dining room and sat down and waited over 10 minutes with workers that could see me from the bar. No one came over to take care of me. I had to go to the front desk and ask if the dining room was open because no one was waiting on me. One of the workers from behind the bar then came over and waited on me but the whole experience was not good. The beds where very uncomfortable. I tried both beds in my room and neither was very good.

Pool was freezing

I really like this hotel and have stayed there 3 times in the past few months. It is in a business park but access to restaurants nearby is easy. The rooms have always been clean and quiet. I never felt like it has been crowded there. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The M Club Lounge is well stocked and not crowded. I have two suggestions for the lounge. 1, it would be awesome if there was a weekly menu of what is expected for the hot food. 2. I wish it was open every day (Hilton properties' lounges are 24/7). I think Marriott is missing out. I know I tend not to stay at the Marriott Hotels with lounges if I am staying over a weekend as I feel I am missing out on a very nice perk.

Checked in with a very friendly and informative Jewel. Everything went smoothly. M Lounge was clean and inviting with a nice assortment of appetizers and snacks. Norma was on top of everything. Cydnie worked evenings at the front desk. Very knowledgeable. She has the personality and skills for management. Cleaning staff were excellent. Overall very pleased with this Marriott. Will definitely return when in the area again.

We stay at this hotel when we visit Richmond. This hotel is well situated to short pump. The rooms arr alway clean. This hotel can be very busy at times due to weddings, conference, competions etc. I have found that during those times your room selections are likely not to be honored. This has happened on a couple different occasions. Overall solid choice of hotel in this area.

We used to live in Richmond. We have friends and family there so we make a trip quite often. We prefer to stay at a hotel rather than staying with family or friends, Richmond Marriott Short Pump is our favorite hotel. Every time we stay we are greeted with a smile and welcome by the associates are the front desk. We really appreciate the M Club. I’m not a breakfast person so my husband gets his breakfast and I get to take my time in the morning and not have to rush to go to a restaurant. My husband Chris now has Titanium status with Marriott however when we first started staying at the hotel he didn’t have status and we were treated exactly the same when we checked in. A smile and welcome we are glad you are here. Yes there is a difference having status we now get a welcome bag. Thank you to all the staff. We look forward to our next stay.

Decor and convenience of having on site restaurant and bar. Stay was friendly. Room was clean and had a great shower.

This is my 2nd time at this hotel, and my experience was a 10/10. Breanna, Jewel and Angela are a great representation of this hotel. They overextend, they treat everyone with much love and respect and I genuinely appreciate that. I will be staying at this location every time I am visiting Glen Allen VA. Thank you ladies!
