We were assured that parking was free. Since returning home we have received a parking fine. We were not informed that it was necessary to log in via the pay machine. Otherwise the hotel and facilities were excellent.

"The gr8 Barr weekend"

The location, reception, room, and staff were brilliant 👏 We really enjoyed our stay, and not to mention, the breakfast was exceptional. I highly recommend the great Barr and will stay again.

The ironing board and iron were not kept in our room.

"Good value for money, good clean rooms but be careful what you order for dinner."

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very good.

Dinner was awful. Fish and chips (should be simple enough at the price) was very small fish in a ton of batter which made it look bigger but was itself overcooked. The waiter offered chicken goujons as a bonus to counter the complaint but the initial fault remained. Breakfast was good.
