Gisborough Hall Hotel

Beautiful property and setting, made for a wonderful wedding venue. Outside terracing, large lawn and stunning building backdrop. The large conservatory was lovely for the wedding ceremony. The function room was a good size with bar, dance floor, and room for a DJ or live band. The staff were well organised, really helpful and friendly, making for a fabulous day. We made a long weekend of it, staying three nights. The dining options were good, but the choice of breakfast was great, and really set us up for the day to explore the local area.

Dogs are allowed at the hotel, but only in the bedroom, not in any public areas. Although, "assistance" dogs are. We saw three over the weekend. Our allocated dog room was on the 2nd floor. Requiring two seperate lifts or stairs, a myriad of corridors making it a 5 mins walk from reception.

Spent 3 amazing days at Guisborough Hall including celebrating our wedding. The Event staff were wonderful, helping to plan and coordinate the wedding, the party, the guests, and the residential side of things, nothing was to much trouble. The reception staff were extremely helpful and supportive from checking in, to checking out, very efficient and very organised. The rooms were very clean and large enough to relax in and the bed was so comfy All the staff at the hall were amazing, very friendly, very helpful, everyone went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great and enjoyable stress free time. We cannot thank all the staff enough for everything they did for ourselves, our family and our friends. Would definately recommend Guisborough Hall for a celebration or a quiet weekend away, an exceptional stay enjoyed by so many people.

Held my sister in laws baby shower in the glass house at Gisborough Hall over the weekend and it was perfect! Booked it over email with Georgia who was lovely and super helpful, planning was done with Adele who again was lovely, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Emily was there from the events team on the day and she was just brilliant and helped make sure we had everything we needed. Mark and David were the service staff on the day both were excellent and professional. Mark went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us and it simply was! I can't thank everyone enough, the day was simply perfect!

2nd time visiting- 1st time with my partner and the experience was amazing. Stayed just 1 night in the Shepard’s huts and it was so relaxing and peaceful! The hut was spotless and came with a fully stocked coffee machine, kitchenette and log burner! The best part by far though was the hot tub that overlooked the pond- which was full of chicks! Dined in the De Brus bar and grill on the night and we’re so pleased with the service, food and nibbles! Can’t wait to return, will definitely go Shepard huts again

We stayed over Easter 2026 and had a great break. As usual, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We returned again at the end of April, as sadly we had a family funeral to attend. The staff did everything possible to make the time as good as it could be and we are very grateful - we will certainly be back. We travelled with our two little dogs, one of which has not been well and needs a peaceful environment - the hotel made sure we had a pleasant, quiet room and she spent most of the time she was in it asleep! Have to mention the fish and chips on the De Brus (bar) menu which was some of the best we have ever had.
