Hotel Villa Taina

I stayed in two other hotels in praya Dorado. Blubay was nice with professional staff but village taina was better. Very attentive staff, room was great food is very good. Located in cabarette a very pleasant town with friendly people.

So nice and on the beach!! The pool was great and staff so professional and kind. I opted for the massage and we did yoga!! It was perfect. The only issue are the some of the ridiculously snobby and classist guests that treat the staff poorly, it's out of our control but just annoying to see. The staff was consistently professional even when dealing with rude people. Thank you Hotel Villa Taina for a wonderful stay!

When booking in some areas in the Dominican Republic looks can be deceiving but when we arrived I felt the photos I saw online and other information posted on different sites was accurately reflected of the hotel. Our room was on the ground floor not far from reception, it was very clean, it was quiet at night (I expected more noise from foot traffic due to its location but that was not the case) and it was a comfortable stay for my wife, young daughter and I. The staff and security was very friendly and helpful. Prior to arrival my wife called for information on the best way to arrive there from Santo Domingo, we used to info given and it was indeed the best vs how our friends arrived. The beach was very clean, the areas around the hotel clean and everyone was very attentive and nice. The hotel restaurant was priced accordingly and had good options (we ate lunch there twice) and the staff again was very nice and pleasant. The hotel is simple but offers things such as massages, kite rentals (we didn’t use these services but many people did. They were busy). My 5 year old enjoyed the pool, it was cleaned daily. They also had lots of beach toys to use, had beach seating and offered beach umbrellas and towels (all included in the stay). The value per night, friendly staff, clean rooms and walking distance to other places makes this hotel desirable.

I enjoy the site

Always a safe haven in the madness of cabarete. Clean small boutique hotel that caters to the windsurfing and kite crowd. Room was large, well appointed and very nice.

This Hotel was good. We stayed for about a week. The room was ok, we had issues with the toilet and the beds were alright for comfortablity. The location was excellent, walk outside to a nice pool and the beach. The breakfasts in the morning were great! Staff was all around generally very nice. Expect there was one gentleman who absolutely insisted we tip him cash, when it’s not required. He got a little pushy about that which was weird. Overall good stay.

The only bad part was the shower flooding the entire bathroom and then having to stand in cold water while you are using the sink or the toilet. Other than that, a great place to stay in the DR!

My room was suppose to have a king bed. It had 2 queens. The bed was not very comfortable, just a mattress. The tv reception was not very good, fuzzy.

Staff are outstanding. food is good. I would like to see the rooms be cleaned a bit better

I liked how it's the restuarant was half inside and half out. Also the rooms were comfy and well designed and modern.
