Hotel Villa Taina

Set off from the center of activity, the villa is active but more private.

We had a great stay at La Villa Taina. The room was more spacious than we expected, comfortable, and clean. The restaurant was good, with a lovely breakfast, and you can’t beat the location - right in the town center next to all the shops and restaurants. Parking is very tight so you wouldn’t be able to park right there, but we didn’t rent a car so no problem for us. If you are a kite surfer, you can rent right in front of the hotel and take off from there. For everyone else, the hotel’s location on the beach is good, just at the border where the kites are not permitted so you can swim, but I enjoyed sitting there on a beach chair and watching the kites. If you have a child this is a nice spot because front loop is a place where kids congregate - my 9 year old son found lots of children to play soccer with on the beach in front of the hotel. The gym has no air conditioning and is small, but there are daily fitness and yoga classes at the hotel. WiFi on the beach is spotty.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here. Nice, Clean and Comfortable rooms. Beach steps away.

Love the beach area, restaurant and bar seating areas. The 2nd floor open-air yoga studio was awesome! Very nice access to the beach, windsurfing/kite-sailing rentals, etc. Super close to the beach-side restaurants and shopping. Staff was very nice. Our room was very difficult to sleep in though due to road noise (honking, motorcycle engines, people talking/yelling/whistling), super hard mattresses, and uncomfortable pillows. It was 3rd floor, over the lobby, near the street. Also, no WiFi was available on 3rd floor. It worked marginally in lobby and 2nd floor, and worked great if we went up to the 4th floor. It worked great down at the beach bar.

The location, staff and rooms where amazing. Super supportive staff and the beach was immaculate. Close shopping and venues yet cuddled in its on space where you felt the quietness of the busy streets. I look forward to staying there again.

Great location, very good cleaning services. Could have used a kettle for coffee. Bathroom door was sticky, curtain was a bit wonky you open and and one hook kept coming out. Small things though. The breakfast in not worth the money paid, better to go to local places of which there are a variety very close.

Really nice hotel, great staff, tidy and nice rooms, great location. Breakfast is so-so, ok-ish. I recommend:)

Location was very quiet at the time that we attended With very few guests. No season. The beachfront location was excellent as would be any property along Cabarete beach.

I like this hotel I've been here on numerous vacation it's clean and very close to the beach and bars in Cabarete
