Hotel Villa Taina

The service was superb specially at the restaurant...! The rest of the staff it seems like they didn’t care. The smell in the room was like something was rotting and the mattress was terrible... ended up with lower back pain every morning and a lack of sleep because of it. The last day of my stay I ended up sleeping on the little bed and the mattress was so much better... the problem is that my lovely lady and I ended up spewing in a single bed due to the mattress in the queen bed! Wondering how often they change their mattresses. Lastly, there is construction going on next door and you will not be needing an alarm as they will wake you up staring at 7:00am! Yeah, my vacations sleeping in was not possible because of the construction next door and the noise last all day long or until 5:00pm so make sure you are aware of this before booking...! Unfortunately we got a room right next to the construction work and is was terrible... sorry to say this but omg... I don’t know if everyone can handle it! Specially people with kids. Cheers

The property has no parking and extremely hard to find; cause THEY ADVERTISED THE BACK OF THE PROPERTY. THE HOTEL’S FRONT LOOKS LIKE CRAP!!! I had a booking for 4 nights, but upon arrival I tried opening my window and there was nothing but garbage and funky smells coming out of it. I’ve complained to the staff who was Mr. Wendy, but he was VERY RUDE AND DID NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE SITUATION. I’ve told him that: if he doesn’t change my room, I will check out the next day. He replied “ SO WHAT” Well everything happens for a reason. Thanks to Mr. WENDY’s UNPROFESSIONALISM I’m now a member of LifeStyle Vacation Club which is THE NICEST AND MOST LUXURIOUS HOTEL IN THE AREA OF CABARETE. This guy WENDY HAS NO BUSINESS DOING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Perhaps, he should be A BELLBOY; which will be MORE SUITABLE FOR HIM. Just MY OPINION

Well, we where lucky. Our room was a delight with a terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel is well run. Lots of activities and a nice restaurant. There is an element of noise and activity at the front of the hotel. Happy we where facing the sea. Be aware of this when booking. The rooms are still pleasant and clean but noisy with no veiw. Also, the water is not drinkable. We did receive a fee bottle for the first night which we appreciated., however I feel there should have been a source of water available to the guests at all times in the lobby for refilling. The big bottles are very inexpensive and should be doable. Clean drinkable water is an essential. I would go back to this hotel. Thanking you for a great couple of days. Cheers

Great location on the beach. Rooms are large with nice balcony. We had a room with ocean view and view of the pretty pool area.

We had a great stay. It is a clean hotel and a great location. Beautiful beach and so close to all of the great restaurants on the beach. We will be back

Small hotel but operated like a resort hotel. Very nice. Would definitely come back again. Most of the staff were great. At check in the young lady spoke barely no English which was a little bit of a problem. I assume in a tourist area they would speak more than this person at reception did. Most of the rest of the staff spoke more English and we had next to no issues with that. Food was good, bar was great. Did not meet up with any housekeeping but had no issues there at all. Beach was nice. Spa was good as was the therapist.

Loved this small boutique experience. View of the ocean from our balcony. Excellent mojitos and good breakfast. Can’t wait to go back.
