Hotel stay was ok

It was good and we enjoy our trip

After confirming I had a room for the night 3 different times, I show up to check in after a 3 hour drive and the office is closed. The “After Office Hours” security guard says I do not have a key for you and no one is here to let you check in. Sorry, This happens all the time! Seriously? This happens all the time!

The carpet was filthy and we found couple of roaches in the bathroom. They didn’t even have big towels. They only had small towels and I had to go to the office to get big towels. When they were changing their shift, they had office door Locked and I had to wait outside for 30 minutes after I made the reservation on hotel.com.

Love that it has a mini kitchen and nice TV with selection to watch

The hotel staff were very helpful and worked hard. For that alone I'm willing to rate InTown Suites highly. Often you get staff that clearly hates their job and doesn't want to help guest, but that's not the case here. The room had a lot of cosmetic flaws, like the counter top chipping and the drawers in the night stand were broken, but it was clean. I would much rather stay at an affordable place with friendly helpful staff that is clean and have cosmetic defects than an aesthetically pleasing place with rude staff. The kitchenette was also helpful. When I need to go to Hattiesburg again, I will stay here.

Oh man. Dont go to this place unless you need a hooker or some drugs. Not a safe environment at all! They didnt have my room reserved. They staff could care less. The first room smelled like pee. The second room had pubic hair in the sheets. The staff doesnt have acess to any clean sheets or towels. The room was not in good condition what so ever. Do NOT bring your families here! This should be rated a 1 star at the most

This place has been remodeled a few times, the last one must have been done in a hurry. Holes in everything (doors, walls, cabinets). Clean enough, but just barely. I guess this is all you get for $50

IMPORTANT TIPS!!! IF YOU DON’T READ ANYTHING ELSE, READ THIS: 1) If you book here and pay at hotel, they won’t even have a record of your reservation, so plan to get there right at the 3pm check-in or pay ahead of time. 2) Request a room on the top floor, I kid you not when I say that you can loudly hear every move someone makes, and people staying here tend to be up into all hours. You definitely get what you pay for, and it was fine (at best) for just a place to sleep for the night before continuing travel, but the building definitely needs some work. The towels are thin and cheap, barely to be considered towels. The bedding is thin. I did kill a single roach, but having lived in the south, I do understand that they can be inevitable at times. The biggest problem for me was the broken safety latch dead bold on the door. It was the last room they had so I couldn’t change rooms, but that is a major issue. The staff was very friendly though. All in all it was okay at best but it served it’s purpose.

No shampoo or cups in room. Had a table but no chair. Ad said a queen size bed got a double and no extra blanket. Carpet wet in spots. Lock broke on door. No closet to hang clothes. 👎
