Reservation made through booking.com could not be found under my name even though I made the reservation. Had a reservation for my friend’s name instead. The person that checked us in was extremely rude!!! Couldn’t answer any of our questions, kept saying I am just trying to accommodate you which he was not! Our rooms weren’t ready and we were there 2 hours after check in time. Then gave us 2 separate rooms far away from each other. When we asked why he did that, he said that he didn’t know we were together. Ummm…we were standing at the counter right next to each other trying to help him figure out what was going on with our reservations!! When I got to my room, the smoke detector was chirping. Called for maintenance only to find out that they had already left for the day. He gave me a battery to change myself only to discover the detector doesn’t take a battery because it is live wired! No amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, soap etc in the bathroom. Had to ask for them. This experience was a complete joke! Thank goodness we were traveling through and will NEVER stay there again!
