A lot of spiders in a room

The staff was very helpful and kind. My first issue was I paid online and upon check in the virtual wallet "was not seen". So I paid twice for the room right off the bat. The first room given was on the ground level and the people who were smoking weed and cigarettes right outside the doors, all over "the smoke free property". That smoke came right into the room and it smelt very strongly of mold. There was also white substances all over the furniture and curtains. The building does look like the pictures; however, absolutely needs to be cleaned inside and out. Thankfully I brought bleach wipes, I used way more than anticipated. The surrounding area is kind of scary, it seemed to be more long-term stay rather than short-term/motel feel. The pool was cloudy, which we understand, but the tile and concrete was cracked and there were ants everywhere! The mold and smoke/weed smells radiated through the AC units. This created some serious asthmatic issues with my son. The breakfast was toast, banana nut bread, two types of cereal, and small muffins. The milk, OJ and AJ were in a gallon, Which everyone had access to the opening. This motel did its job, we needed to drive through to our destination. However, I would not stay in this location again.

Nice and friendly staff. Helped us stay all family members at side by side rooms. Overall, great experience!!

The staff was friendly and welcoming. As for the property is dated. Maybe it used to be a motel and then became a hotel. The walls are just painted cinder blocks. The rooms smell as if someone had smoked in them. The pool is out of service. There is no outer wall, just glass, therefore outside noise comes in the room easily. Of the two beds, one was perfect while the other had stained sheets. Overall, if you need a place to wash up and crash this is it. No luxury just a room and a bed.
