Over paid for a dirty room

Was dirty hot and smelled bad. Didn't stay more than twenty minutes. Was a backup plan for power outage.

Friendly staff, beautiful facility and the best breakfast ever.

It had a bar and restaurant inside the hotel. The staff was very helpful and polite. Wonderful breakfast.

This hotel is a rip off. Showed up to check in to find that they canceled my reservation because I do not live 50 miles or more away from the area. However, they still took 190 from my checking account which the site advertised would be charged at check in. I was told they would refund my money but there is no credit pending and they are not able to find my reservation. This left us needing to book at another hotel and have that place put a 150 hold on the account as well. So, now I have 350 tied up for a one night stay at a sub par hotel. It is one thing to refuse a guest a room for a “local” policy but to do so and still take the funds from the account is unacceptable and it should be something that is disclosed at the booking, as I would have found another place to stay.

See above. The policy of this hotel are not disclosed and they take your payment despite not providing accommodations.

Very clean, friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed and a great breakfast. This is a great value for the sévices and comfort. Loved that they highlight local artists and promote Maine products.
