Comfort Inn & Suites Grafton-Cedarburg

We have stayed here twice and it's been a great experience. Clean, pleasant, free parking, very comfortable beds and it's pet friendly.

Day staff accommodated early check-in, which I appreciated. Evening staff was rude and apparently there was not one extra blanket in the entire building that could be provided to me. Rooms (stayed two nights in different rooms) smelled horribly of mold/mildew which made me sick to my stomach. Rooms just look dirty—you don’t want to walk around them without shoes. Sheets were worn. Incessant pounding above me at night. Won’t go back.

This was a comfortable place to stay

Missing an iron in room when brought to front desk’s attention was told he’d “look around for one”. We needed to iron clothes for family wedding next day. Requested a 2nd time and front desk stated he was too busy. At that point I borrowed from a family member staying at hotel. Next morning went to front desk and the woman attendant gave me one right away. Furniture in room was very dusty. Found a tin of chewing tobacco in sofa chair. Top of Ice machine was dirty. Finally breakfast was lacking attendance for refills of fresh coffee, fruit and hot food was not hot or refilled. A very disappointed customer.

Nice pool area

The propertybwas average. But the staff need a pep talk. I brought a group of 13 Seniors. I called ahead to try and let them know and attempted to simplify the check in process since the rooms were already paid for. I had to twist the arm of the person on the phone initially to help. Then when we got there, there was water splilled on the floor at the entrance. Since the lobby was filled with people, seniors as well as others. One person in our group grabbed a cpuple of pool towels to wipe it up, so no one fell. When she was gettting her room key, the clerk i stead of thanking her, reprimanded her. Later I needed their assistance in calling one of there room, and he was completely annoyed. Time for a staff meeting. These are ypur customers!
