the location is a bit away from Amherst however not a bad ride and was able to enjoy GOTEN, a wonderful establishment close to the hotel. thank you

really need a fridge and microwave in the rooms, a gym would be nice too. especially when your paying 497.00 a night for 2 nights. I am aware the UMASS graduation weekend was the reason for the price increase. Thank you again!

Requested a flatter pillow and was told they had no additional pillows at all. A hotel with no additional pillows? Unheard of… Also, had a hotel employee enter our room while we were napping in the afternoon. The person barely knocked and didn’t wait for our response and just entered. Unbelievable.

Location

Locks tricky to use with key cards. Reserved a handicapped room. It only had one bedside table, one chair. No desk with chair. There was only a half size ironing table that was a table top, but there was no table to put it on. Was advertised to have a walk-in shower, it was a step over the side tub with shower. The key card wouldn't work. After having desk reset the card it still wouldn't work. We were told we'd have to move our room as the lock was broken. They said they were moving us to the same room. It wasnt a handicapped room. There wasn't a seat in the tub, no bars, a low toilet also without bars around it. Luckily the toilet was next to the counter so I could use that to steady myself, although not ideal for my shoulder. A short while later two maintenance men came to our new room and said we could move back now. We were tired, it had been a long travel day. At least the new room had 2 chairs and a desk. We did not want to move again. At bedtime we discovered the bed was soft and there weren't enough pillows with no extra ones anywhere in the room. When we checked in no one told us where the ice was located to fill our ice bucket. The new room was way down the end of the hall and we didn't feel like hunting for it. We knew from walking to the rooms it wasn't down that hall. So who knew how long the walk would be or if it was even on the same floor. I have a walking disability so this wasn't a good situation for me. So I had to go without ice, a shower and a trolly to move my luggage. I did not see any when we checked in or out. I was not offered any compensation for our room not being properly ready and not as advertised( broken lock, not a walk in shower only 1 end table and not enough towels for two people- only 1 was cloth) then being moved to a non- handicapped accessible room, and expected to be moved again. I believe I deserved compensation. When I complained when we saw the first room nothing was addressed.
