Extended Stay America Select Suites - Chesapeake - Churchland Blvd

Well when we arrived at 10:15 pm lady was leaving went back opened the window and checked us in. Went to room whole hotel smelled like weed. Opened door to room it hung on floor and the door striker was missing door frame moved first step in room floors was sticky Carpet nasty not sure what was on them looked like blood stains and not sure what the white stuff on the walls was Walls had stains and dirt all over them Everything that was touched was sticky Ac unit made so much noise could not sleep bed an pillows where hard also This place is nasty we checked out the next day and went to another hotel This place seems like a rent by the hour place not for family or a traveling person. I would not let my dog sleep there. Only thing positive was lady at desk was nice. Best thing for this place is a bull dozer.

The location of the property was fine

There was no one at the front to greet you to Check in or out . There was a shutter at the Check closed down you had to use the phone to dial reservation which then notified the person on duty to come and check you in and out . Very unprofessional and distasteful. I will not be back or recommend a stay .The room was almost very nasty smelling . The smell was as if they use an old dirty mop to clean the room and the towels were very dingy. Not a goof stay.

Checked in after a long day of burying my mother, too tired to drive back to NC shortly before 10 pm. The first room a dead roaches, nasty residue/build up on the wall under the ac, and food crumbs left in the kitchen area. The second room we were welcomed with more roaches. As I rolled the tissue out a roach jumped out. As I sat down to prepare to eat three roaches were running on the nightstand were I’d placed my food. My daughter and I had no choice but to leave and resort to my truck. Night audit was apologetic and said notes were made. I just wanted to get rest for work and getting on the road on the morning.

This a safe and clean hotel. Other guests were friendly. Loved the accepted pets. CUSTOMER SERVICE is AMAZING!!! As well as, accommodating. Only complaints are ice machine has not worked entire stay (at least month) and the bed does not have center slats so bed sank in middle. If you sat on edge you would roll to center. 4 complaints made!

My job sent me to the area for a 3 day work trip. I’ve stay at extended stay America before, so I figured I’d give this one a shot. A makeover would be really nice for this property. Nevertheless the rooms are clean and staff is nice and helpful. This hotel has major potential and I hope they remodel soon.

Passing thou on a drive to Maine. I’ve stay at this location for two nights. I’ve stay at this property before and was excited that the rates were good. Just like last time I was greeted at checkin and my room was nice. The hotel does need to be renovated but I know that’s up to corporate and not the hotel. They do their best to keep this place clean for the guest. I will keep coming back as long as they will have me.

The staff was friendly.

The lobby smelled like weed, outlets didn't work, the room was still dirty and place was infested with ants and roaches.
