Lovely room overlooking Lake. Excellent service and food especially breakfast buffet and final dinner with Noble Caledonia group. Staff efficient , polite. could not have been more helpful

Beautiful property with warm and welcoming staff

Going to centre of town is not easy as we have to keep to the the set times or pay for the out of hours request.

A stunning hotel perfectly situated across from the picturesque Lake Maggiore. Our room offered every modern convenience, including a private balcony with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The property and its amenities were immaculate, the staff exceptionally attentive, and the food and cocktails truly outstanding. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely hotel with beautiful views from our balcony ( busy road infront but that is where the hotel was originally built many years ago ) The staff were great and very friendly as my mobility is limited, and helped with my mini scooter to cross the road and get down to steps to go out on the lovely launch from the hotel, along with the very exciting Cigarette boat ! They were also very happy to load and unload my mini scooter from the shuttle bus into Stresa. Super room just needs more soundproofing from the rooms that can be connected by doors to others. If you want a amazing excursion head to Zermatt just into Switzerland and take a helicopter trip around the Matterhorn !

We came to Aminta for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. Service is 5/5, extremely friendly, attentive and professional. Rooms are beautiful and the concierge service is also amazing. We can absolutely recommend it and hope to be back very soon!

The hotel building is stunning with a beautiful view over the lake and mountains. The interiors are elegant and clean, and the staff at reception and breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast itself was fresh and nicely presented.

Our suite faced the garden and was directly next to a service lift. There was no privacy and constant noise from carts and staff passing, making it impossible to rest. The nanny service, advertised at €45/hour with English-speaking staff, turned out to be a 16-year-old who barely spoke English, entertained my child with phone and TV, and even fell asleep while on duty. For the price charged, the service felt completely unacceptable and unsafe.

The Aminta has a superb location and the staff, cuisine and facilities were excellent and perfect for a very indulged stay.

This was my first experience with Hotel Villa & Palazzo Aminta, and it was for business meetings. Most importantly, the staff was AMAZING. I felt so taken care of and, frankly, pampered. As soon as they discovered I was gluten free, I was provided with warm GF bread at every meal. The knew how I loved my coffee. The smiles, Buongiorno's, and friendly service every day was a pure delight. I even saw the team manage an irrational guest with calmness and kindness. The food is excellent as well. And the views . . . you can't beat. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and I slept well. Oh, and the water pressure in the shower was heavenly! Even the WiFi held up to long video conference calls. The only challenge I can think of is not all rooms have desks so sometimes working in your room can be challenging. But hopefully you will be there for holiday. Thank you for taking such good care of us, and I look forward to coming back with my husband to fully appreciate the romantic atmosphere.
