"Perfect Lake Maggiore stay"

This was our first visit to Italy and indeed Lake Maggiore. It didn't disappoint. The hotel occupies a prime position on the lake just a short distance from the centre of Stresa. The views over the lake and the islands is outstanding. We were lucky enough to have our breakfast on the terrace at sunrise on our last day. It was breath taking. Walking into the hotel is like stepping back in time. The decor is opulent and sophisticated without appearing old fashioned. All the staff were helpful, friendly and courteous at all times. The hotel offers a free shuttle service into the centre of Stresa which was very welcome as we didn't notice any bus stops nearby. Our room was in a separate building at the rear of the hotel but it still had a good view of the lake. It was clean and comfortable with ample storage for clothes and luggage. We were sad to leave but have promised ourselves that we will return.

Our experience at Palazzo & Villa Aminta, was outstanding, with its gorgeous decor, breathtaking views, and wonderful service, The breakfast was delicious and amazing with its enormous spread, even customizing egg orders.
