Baymont by Wyndham Mooresville

Filthy halls, rooms. Smelled like pot. Feces on bathroom wall. Towels and washcloths dirty, even a dirty one on the floor when we entered. Bathroom door hanging by a hinge. Bed linens didn't smell clean. Badly stained carpets in halls and room. Just a mess!

The pool was out of commission, no breakfast due to lack of staff. We were not made aware of this when we booked the hotel. The entire 3rd floor smelled straight up like an ashtray! Our room carpet was dirty and littered with crumbs and dog hair. Our smoke detector was filthy and laying on top of the microwave. The hall carpets were very dirty with large clumps of dirt and mud. Our bathroom sink was leaking and dripping. No daily maid service. On the plus side, the sheets were clean and the beds fairly comfortable. We did check for bedbugs using traps and found none. And were given a small (12$) discount since there was no breakfast available. We were told they only had 3 employees. This will definitely be our last stay there!

We stayed on the second floor. From the time we stepped off the elevator, it reeked. It really did smell bad. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut. It was broken. The tub was nasty. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and the ac didn’t work well. I don’t think we’ll be staying again

The staff helped us with our laundry even though the guest laundry was out of order.

The hall way smelled like cigarette smoke, the room smelled the same . There was cigarette burns in the beding . We had to buy room freshener. The sink faceted leaked .. shower curtain was tore half off the rod..very disappointing

DON’t STAY HERE! Hotel was run down. Room was filthy, smelled like cigarette smoke, not vacuumed, toilet filthy, and the list goes on. Our room was on the 4th floor and wasn’t sure the elevator was going to make it. The guy at the counter was nice and check in/out was easy. This hotel was so bad we checked out that night and went to another one. I’m not sure why Baymont/Wyndham would put their name in this property.

I will not stay at Baymont Mooresville again. The hotel is dirty from the outside. The inside hallways carpets dirty, room carpet was filthy, room had a loud weird stench in it. The walls in the room and hotel are nasty, needs to be updated bad.

The property is in a good location near Lake Norman. Easy access and thr front desk staff was very pleasant. Our room was neat and "clean". The lobby, elevator, corridors were dirty. If you can look the otherway on your way to your room you will get a reasonable priced room. No breakfast as advertised. Not even coffee so figure that in when selecting a hotel on price.

First of all - this hotel is dying. It’s not being maintained and cleaned at all. The dirtiness is extreme. Actually it was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was stated at the time of booking, but in fact there was no breakfast at all due to the shortage of staff at premise. Stay away!!!
