Customer service told us the breakfast was included and started at 7am. With my husband doing the marathon that started at 7am we went out and bought breakfast for him. Our experience at this hotel was not just disappointing; it was genuinely disgusting. The receptionist's behavior was a masterclass in practiced lying and what appears to be targeted, racial discrimination. We arrived early and were informed that checking in before 3:00 PM would incur a fee. We understood and patiently waited. When we approached the desk again at 2:30 PM, the receptionist adamantly refused to check us in without the fee, insisting we wait until 3:00 PM sharp. In the half-hour that followed, we witnessed this same employee warmly check in several other non-Asian guests without any mention of an early check-in fee. When we confronted her at 3:00 PM about this blatant double standard, she looked us in the eye and brazenly lied, claiming they had all paid the fee. Our suspicions were confirmed when we spoke directly with another guest who had just checked in. She was shocked to hear our story and verified that she was never asked to pay any fee. Let us be perfectly clear: we were the only Asian couple in the lobby, and we were the only ones subjected to this deplorable treatment. This employee is a disturbingly skillful and habitual liar who practices discrimination as if it were hotel policy. It is absolutely shameful for this hotel to place such a prejudiced and dishonest individual on its front line. This experience was humiliating and unacceptable. Minorities Beware: You Are Not Welcome Here.

We booked to be close to Dragon boat races. Original room with river view had a tree partially blocking it and the moved us higher after asking with no trouble. Great staff and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I've stayed many times. always for the EdmontonMarathon weekend....will be back. the only change I would like to see, a later late checkout..for a race that starts at 10:30, a 12 noon check out is cutting it tight

Clean and renovated hotel. We were in the river view room and it was one of the most spacious hotel rooms I have been to. The view was breathtaking even in third floor room that we were in. Definitely will come back and strongly recommended. Two small downsides to be fair, the indoor parking was height limited and the entrance was VERY small, we opted to park outside even though the price was the same. Also the buffet breakfast was good, but could really be better and have more variety considering the price.

El personal seco, poco profesional. La habitación limpia pero vieja. Muy basica. El segundo dia la limpiaron pero dejar la bandeja del té y las tazas de la noche anterior. Eramos 4 y nos dejaron 3 toallas. Precios carisimos: un te y un vaso de leche 10$ el parqueo 45$

Nice clean hotel. Staff excellent. Nice river view. Parking is very expensive though and breakfast is not included in stay.
