Fairfield Inn & Suites Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport

No issues and loved the quick check-in! The fire alarm did go off one morning though.

Clean room and comfortable bed. My two main priorities. Would be nice to have an extra wall plug or two next to the bed. Laptop, cellphone, CPAP machine etc

Avoiding breakfast mishaps

Incredibly appalled at the behavior of the morning breakfast staff. My family, which includes my three young children, stopped in for breakfast before heading to the pool for a swim. Due to the astonishing lack of a sign stating “shoes must be worn at all times”; imagine my absolute shock when an employee begins chasing my children around the breakfast nook while yelling about needing shoes. I was unsurprised at the lack of food and supplies, as I am sure it’s very difficult to keep a continental breakfast stocked when you are too busy harassing children to notice that your job of replenishing food needs to be done. I watched the other breakfast worker, Paula, run around and try to hold everything together while her partner scouts for more children to assault. I have never experienced this type of treatment in a hotel before. I am utterly speechless at the treatment from the staff at this hotel. Our lights in the room flickered and barely worked. Our bedsheets smelled of chlorine when we arrived. Clearly they were not cleaned up to standard. Incredibly disappointed with this hotel.

Amazing staff - made more omelets at my niece’s request, tolerated guest rudeness about breakfast closing (at 10am!) well. Just really great staff. Also liked the pool hours (6-10 kids 6-11 adults) and late breakfast hours since our flight was delayed. Rooms were worn but comfortable beds and showers, and good price. Would definitely stay again.

It was a good hotel. Could use some TLC. Breakfast was fine. Didn’t use the pool.
