Holiday Inn Express Boonville by IHG

Hotel being renovated. Pool/spa closed. Ice machines out of order. Fitness room size of a closet. No weights. Asked for another room away from the construction underway on our floor - lots of dust and smell. The room we were moved to - smelled like mold. Worst place I've ever stayed. Broken car window glass in the parking lot which we told the front desk about. Seemed like a car was broken into. Front desk denied. Said that the window just broke yesterday. Do not stay at this Holiday Inn. Felt unsafe. Anyone who has respiratory issues - avoid this hotel. Expedia should remove from their website. Expedia please contact me.

Hot tub was not working.

Worse than a Motel 6. Not all the lights worked. Air conditioner was very loud. Thumping sound in the ceiling all night long. Stained toilet. Broken drain cover in sink. Worse Holiday Inn Express in which I have ever stayed. The front desk wasn't able to assist with issues. Avoid this hotel. Stay at the Comfort Inn which is next door.

This was night #3 of our 5 week vacation. This hotel was dirty and very outdated. Outdated is okay as long as it's clean. They fail miserably on cleanliness. The carpet was stained and the room smelled terribly musty. The entry way light switch controlled 2 lights, the entry overhead light and living room light. When switched on, the overhead light became a strobe light. I had to immediately turn it off before it triggered a migraine. I reported it to the front desk but he said nobody could fix it until Monday. We couldn't get the desk lamp to work either. The room was dark, musty and smelly. The bathroom was dirty, which is the number one thing that I can't tolerate. They are currently remodeling the entire hotel and my sister and her husband were across the hall from us. The construction crew was directly above their room. The hammering and drilling was so loud that they couldn't hold a conversation. That went on until 6:00 PM. The breakfast was fine, with scrambled eggs and sausage. I would not come back until they finished with the remodel. It's certainly not worth the $162.58 a night that we paid.

Hotel is outdated and in need of remodeling Thankfully they have started with the top floor. We stayed on the second floor. Carpet is dirty, bathroom floor and tub needed repair. In July they start repairing the indoor pool so beware. Also no water during 11am-3pm. We did have a large room with pullout bed which also needs to be replaced

Staff were very helpful and very nice. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and everything tasted good.

The room they have me had mold on the walls, they gave us a different room. We was woke up at 7 a.m. with jackhammering on the floor above us. A few days after we got home from our trip i checked my bank account and they charged me $250 for smoking in the room, neither me or my wife smoke. I called the hotel 2 days in a tow and appearantly the manager never works and nobody there could help me. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone

Nothing around property to walk to. Containers in the parking area I’m not sure if they’re remodeling or not. Our room was very dusty around the baseboards carpet area and dated.

I had a great stay here twice about a week apart as I made a trip east. It was easy to find and there was access to fast food nearby -- you could walk to Arby's. Good hot breakfast choices. My decaf coffee had a ton of grounds in it unfortunately during the first stay, but the second visit it was all fine. The first stay there were quite a few long hairs in the bathroom and tub and they were NOT mine (my hair is short). Second stay the shower curtain rod was broken so the curtain wouldn't stay closed -- water got all over the floor. I left a note and also mentioned it when I checked out. It looked like an easy fix, so hopefully it was taken care of before the next guest. Overall though, I had two very good nights sleep and the location was great for my trip.

Good spot. I recommend it.
