Nice location, clean and manager also gave to us an early check in. She is very helpful

This was in a good location for our trip. Very easy to park nearby and then get to where we were going in our rental car.

Toilet had brown water in it when I checked in. Blood stains on the pillow. Beeping noise constantly, like a smoke alarm needed batteries. There was a wheel barrow outside my window. A balcony of an apartment overlooked my room. Heater didn’t work. No extra blankets. No staff on site. Convenient for bars and restaurants. No parking

A micro-hotel in downtown Redwood City. Hotel was new and clean, but rooms are tiny. Parking is available in public lot around the corner. No amenities.

I have stayed here a few times and the standard of cleanliness and quality of the rooms remains high. The location is also great, there is a great choice of restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed for 2 nights on a business trip and it was perfect for just us! I loved all the dining options that were in walking distance! The staff was so nice and everything was clean! It is small so I wouldn’t recommend for a whole family but 1 or 2 people is perfect!

We recently stayed at Kasa Niche while attending a show at Club Fox, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. The hotel is located right in downtown Redwood City, just a short walk from restaurants, bars, and both the Fox Theatre and Club Fox. It's a great spot if you’re planning a night out and don’t want to worry about driving. Check-in was contactless and easy to navigate with keypad entry. Kasa provided clear, timely messages throughout—from check-in instructions to support contact info—which made the whole process seamless. While we didn’t interact with staff directly, it was reassuring to know someone was onsite. Our room was located at the front of the building, above the entrance, which meant we could hear a bit of street chatter. However, the hotel provides both a sound machine and earplugs, which was a thoughtful touch. The bed was firmer than we’re used to, but it worked fine for one night. If you’re particular about room darkness or noise levels, you might want to ask for a room away from the street and with heavier window coverings, as ours let in some early morning light. The room was very clean and well-maintained, with welcome snacks, bottled water, and a personal note waiting for us. There was a mini fridge, pod coffee maker, filtered water carafe, and even an ice bucket and hairdryer. Parking isn’t onsite, but it was easy enough to find metered street parking and nearby public lots. There’s a small loading zone right out front which made unpacking convenient. All in all, Kasa Niche offered a modern, efficient, and well-located stay. We’d happily return next time we’re in the area for a night out.
