Nantasket Beach Resort

I’m no hotel snob - but this place is a joke wrapped in drunken locals running a sham of an establishment. I booked a room at Nantasket Beach Resort nearly two months in advance for a reunion being held at the property. Unfortunately, I was placed in a room next to a barking dog (was told it was a service dog as if that mattered). When I asked the front desk to move me to any other available room, I was told the only option was a suite and that I would have to pay more. I did not feel it was reasonable to pay extra simply to avoid a disruptive room assignment for ONE night. Getting a refund required more than an hour of back-and-forth with the front desk, including multiple calls to a manager, before I was finally able to leave and drive home instead of staying overnight. The situation was disappointing and avoidable. For a reservation made well in advance and tied to an event at the property, I expected a more customer-focused response and a much smoother resolution. Also expensive!

This was the second visit to Nantasket Beach Resort and Hotel for my family. You can’t beat the location to the beach! The hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace on the cool and rainy days. The only area we feel that was overlooked was the pool area. It was not crowded at the pool the day we arrived but we didn’t end up going swimming. There were no clean towels and the dirty towel bins were full. (we did tell the front and they arrived shortly with clean towels) There were dirty towels piled on chairs and tables along with what seemed like trash (take out food containers) on tables. The area was not clean and the condensation dripping was also not enjoyable. The second night we went back to the pool and it seemed a little cleaner and we were able to get a swim in. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will most likely stay here again.

The location is amazing! I really love the ocean view. The staff ate so friendly and there is a clean feel to the place.

Some paint on balcony needed touching-up and the roof over the outdoor areas was an eyesore and unkempt. The STIR coffee shop was understaffed and slow.

The hotel itself is in a great location with nice amenities and even nicer staff. Housekeeping was always looking to make you feel comfortable. The staff at the restaurant were very pleasant and personable.

The Nantasket Beach Resort and Hotel has beautiful views of Nantasket Beach. The guest rooms are clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the electric fireplace for extra warmth and atmosphere. The only area that was not well maintained was the indoor pool area. The air quality was poor especially in the evenings, the ceiling panels dripped from condensation, and the pool deck was dirty at times. Dirty towels were overflowing and left for a length of time without being taken for cleaning and having clean towels replenished. Never saw anyone doing chemical tests on the pool water, but the water did appear to be clean. Regardless of this one area I would return for a visit in the future, but would skip the pool area unless improvements are made.

No hot water the day of a wedding when using a wedding block reservation. Problem not corrected in time to shampoo hair for a formal wedding event. Very unhappy with situation. People lined up in lobby, super angry. Affected entire south side rooms

Clean, quiet, location

Nothing, it was perfect.

Dated hotel and claims to be a "resort." Overall good stay but poor customer service at check in - hard to find room when they just give you a map and send you on your way. Pool and hot tub area had condensation from celing dripping all over. Probably would not stay again. Expected more amenties and service for price point. Fireplace in room is a nice touch.
