"Room not ready at check-in time & poor room condition"

We chose this hotel to stay at for a wedding we were attending close by. We arrived shortly after the 4PM check-in time as we had a wedding t be at by 5PM in Cohasset. Room was not ready until 430PM which was very frustrating as we had no time to get ready. The room itself was in rather poor condition with broken shower pieces, cracked walls, paint all over the place, just really poor craftmanship overall. The hand railing was detached from wall in hallway outside our room which required stairs to get to (not fun when you have a knee injury). Staff was nice and great location so very disappointed that management doesn't have their act together here.
