Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco Downtown/Van Ness Ave

The room was very clean and organized. I would recommend it and most likely come back in the future.

Hotel was a lovely vibe Rooms were clean and bed really comfy Staff super helpful when I left something behind in our room after we checked out. They collected it and had it in the lobby within 15 mins of my phone call. Thank you!

The parking spaces were a bit narrow

Gorgeous decor, clean, bright, easy access.

No restaurant or bar on premises (there is a very sub-par diner attached, but definitely not the caliber of the hotel). No coffee maker in the guest room or the lobby. One particular front desk staff member by the name of “PK” was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. She seemed easily frustrated and self righteous. Very unsafe neighborhood at night. Charged for parking a car 3 nights even though I only had it one night. When I checked in “PK” asked if I would need to park the car for 3 nights, I told her “no, only one”, but was still charged for the full three.

The building is nicely renovated. We did have no AC our first night. Staff was great and mels diner was great too. The surrounding area isn't the best for families but being able to waymo around helped.

The AC didn’t work for the most part of our trip, but the hotel provided a fan. Although it helped, it wasn’t enough to cool down through out the day.

The air conditioning was not working during our stay. The rooms were extremely hot.
