Hotel Excelsior

the restaurant is completely disgusting and the staff is the but and seen in my life, the room smell of cigar, the wifi is not working

This is a very clean hotel , the staff so friendly y helper I really recommend . The price is excellent and the service Fabulous . The food was so delicious and had so many variety For excellent price .

We felt the hotel was quite overpriced for what you got and they seemed to have an issue with calling us a taxi in the morning claiming they didn't run to the afternoon.

For the money is to much... also but location and old hotel ...

Shutte was falling apart. Hotel was located quite a ways from the airport. Gang tagged neighborhood. WIFI was not available consistently. Calls to the front desk resulted in a promise to call back--which never happened. 3 times. Pool dirty. There was no casino, which was ok but the abandoned areas were a bit creepy. Lone can of Vienna sausage sitting on top of refrigerator was weird. When we got ready to go our bill was padded with phone call charges Room was clean. Won't ever go back.

The restaurant food is very good and affordable price.

While the room was comfortable and the food good, other things let it down. The room was over looking the road and as you may know in Honduras the honking of horns by drivers is a national past-time. It was very noisy. The windows weren't double glazed to reduce the noise. The plug in sink was broken, water didn't drain out of shower, warm water in shower came out in a dribble, no tea or coffee facilities in the room, couldn't give small change in dollars and spoken english behind desk was very limited, though the staff did try to be helpful. Had been back packing so was hopeful of staying in a decent hotel on last night before departure. The amount paid for this room in Honduras should guarantee a bit of comfort and luxury. It's not located in a great part of the city either and its a long way from the airport. Don't belive the 3.4 km from airport advertised. They couldn't take a single card payment for restaurant and bar. The restaurant sold drinks from the bar but had to invoice you twice therefore incurring two card charges for payment. The bar was very dark and dingy and as such you didnt want to go in. All in all a bit disappointing.

It is an old hotel. I stayed there for one night and I recognaice that I don´t know much of Tegucigalpa but the neighborhood isn't that good. I had the bad experience that about 9:30pm there were 8 or 9 shots and I thought that they were at the door of the Hotel but nobody at the hotel said anything. I would NOT recomend this Hotel neither for business nor for family traveling.

My time in the hotel it was great. Me and my family enjoyed the time there. The service at the restaurant it was very good, but what i liked the most it was how save and secure i felt once i was inside the hotel. I realy wish i could have stayed longer but i will defenetely go back to Excelsier if i could. Thanks to everyone.
