"Patrick and Staff Provide First-Class and Courteous Service Start to Finish"

10.0

Manager Patrick "runs a first-class hospitality operation" at TownePlace Suites by Marriott FLL Weston: First, Patrick himself and everyone on his front desk staff goes "above and beyond" in courtesy, efficiency and helpfulness. For a solo, senior female traveler with medical issues to get assistance pushing her incoming (and later outgoing) luggage through the doors when she is struggling is so helpful. This occurred with a young female staffer's help "in" and then at departure with Patrick himself, bravo. (The fact that there were functional luggage carts, so welcome, too.) Second, housekeeping and maintenance are tops. Third, Joseph laid out an excellent spread of food and beverage items for breakfast and refilled them

I liked everything. See above. I'd not change a thing. The bedroom was excellent and all so clean, the kitchenette was well stocked, the desk area was ergonomic, the bathroom was clean and well supplied - and the bed was so comfortable and had lots of pillows. Well done, all.

"Do not stay, dishonest practices. I believe management is aware and this is just what they’re doing."

2.0

Attempted to check in for a day stay. The Clerk offered me a bed and a sofa. I specifically declined and told her I needed two beds. She said no more available. She had to get with housekeeping and that I should go eat breakfast and return after in the room would be ready. 10 minutes later she said the one was ready. so I pay and head up… I get up there and it’s a bed and a sofa. I go back down to speak with her and she told me she could not give me two beds on a day only if I upgraded to an overnight day. I immediately went round and round with her because I specifically told her I needed to be and would only accept double bed. She told me it could not be done. There was no manager. I could speak to and she refused a refund. Told me to stop talking over her and let her explain herself. There was no explanation necessary because I had already declined a bed in the sofaand you purposely swiped my card, knowing that’s exactly what you were planning to give me the whole time. Very dishonest do not stay here.

"don't stay here"

2.0

This hotel is running a scam. Guests are being charged extra fees without explanation, and it feels like they’re taking advantage of people checking in. Save your money and stay somewhere else—you won’t regret it. When you call the front desk, they’re unhelpful and very slow to respond. putting extra chargers on your card.. SAVE UR MONEY AND STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU WONT REGRET IT.. and once you call from desk the ladies on the phone wanna act slow . I had a very negative experience at this hotel. There were unexpected charges added to my card that were never clearly explained ,WHEN I CALLED which felt dishonest. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere to avoid similar issues. Additionally, the front desk staff was unresponsive and slow when I tried to get assistance.

"I WILL NEVER AGAIN BOOK TOWNPLACE SUITES in Weston Fl."

2.0

First, the photo online looks nowhere like this property actually looks now. (They claim they renovated). After waiting ~four (4) hours, they said there were no rooms available due to technical problems. They (said they) booked us into VACATION VILLAGE hotel but when we arrive there (transported by a surly driver with a Caribbean accent) the mentioned hotel had never even heard of us. I had to get on the phone and have a matter-of-fact conversation with the front desk at TOWNPLACE. I didn't like the appearance of the hotel and customer service and being customer-focused was foreign attributes. I will never book again and encourage my acquaintances the same.

"Poorly run establishment"

2.0

I try to be understanding when travel issues happen, but this stay involved repeated miscommunication, poor coordination, and unnecessary inconvenience from start to finish. When I arrived for check-in at 3pm, I was told the hotel had water damage and was overbooked, so I would be relocated to another hotel 9 miles away. I understand emergencies happen, but it would have been courteous to notify guests before arrival instead of after we show up with luggage. (Imagine if I had to take a taxi or Uber for all this!) Because I was picking up a friend from the airport the next day who also had a reservation at this hotel, I specifically asked the front desk to relocate him as well. Since I was his transportation and they were going to leave him at their hotel but not me. I was assured they would handle both reservations and that everything would be covered since my stay had already been prepaid through a third-party app. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the new hotel: • My room was only held for one night and not paid for • My friend’s room wasn’t reserved at all It took multiple calls — several of which were disconnected — before they finally covered my two nights. No one ever called back despite saying they would. I even drove back to the original hotel to sort this out in person because the phone support wasn’t working. After a shift change, I had to re-explain everything to new staff who had to “look into it” all over again. Eventually they offered to upgrade my friend to a two-bedroom suite so we could stay together. While that sounds nice, there was no compensation for my disrupted, prepaid stay — my reservation was simply absorbed into his “upgrade.” In reality, it meant packing up, checking out by noon, and being without a room for several hours until he arrived that evening. Check-in at the second hotel wasn’t smooth either. At 3pm, I was told the room wasn’t ready but they would call me as soon as it was cleaned. I left my number and said I’d wait in the car, literally 10 steps from the entrance. After waiting an hour with no call, I went back inside and was told the room had been ready shortly after I left. They claimed I gave them the wrong number — we verified it together and it was correct with the area code. Even knowing I was just outside, no one attempted to come get me. Had I been relying on an Uber or taxi instead of my own vehicle, this would have meant either paying to sit and wait or being stranded entirely. That lack of basic follow-through could have created an even bigger problem. When we finally got into the “upgraded” suite about 30 minutes before leaving to pick up my friend, we discovered it only had one bathroom. For four adults, that’s not really an upgrade — it’s a compromise. Throughout the process, every step required repeated calls, in-person visits, or follow-ups just to get basic arrangements handled. The biggest issue wasn’t the water damage — things happen. The issue was the lack of communication, ownership, and coordination. Much of the original coordination was handled by Nalini Dube, Director of Sales, and unfortunately the early reservation mistakes seemed to snowball from there. Even the hotel I was sent to for.the first night commented on their poor communication. Guests shouldn’t have to spend hours chasing down reservations or wondering whether they’ll even have a place to sleep. I hope management improves communication and accountability so future guests don’t have a similar experience. Honestly, I’ve had smoother, less stressful stays at roadside budget hotels like a Comfort Inn. That shouldn’t be the case here. I wouldn’t stay again.

"Meh"

You get what you pay for. Horrible water pressure. Probably has a water restriction implant. Fitness center has nearly nothing. No amenities. For a family though, they do have some two bedroom suites.
