Hilton Garden Inn Fairfax

Very clean, housekeepers are friendly and thorough. I was truly impressed by the Hotel. Mattress and pillows were comfy. AC, great. Rare you find a hotel that is set up nice and clean. Only complaint is the refrigerator. Freezer worked poorly, if at all. My items were cold, rather than frozen. I would say if they would get a new refrigerator, then that hotel will be top notch in my opinion. Oh, I almost forgot, the servers at breakfast, they were very attentive. They were checking on you, picking up your dishes. Great service. Thank you. P.S. Get those fridges fixed...please!!!

A few disappointments marred an otherwise satisfactory experience. Hallways and common areas were very warm. Breakfast is not included and while I might have paid for it the buffet was fairly unappetizing looking (as bad as what you get when it's included at competitors' places). The air conditioner was very noisy and I would have had to change rooms had it not quieted down after an hour or so, And, finally, somehow our two-night stay got mishandled such that we were checked out after one night (as a no show) and had to be re-booked.

The staff was not friendly didn’t tell me about the amenities and didn’t provide a receipt for my stay because they told me I booked via a third party. I called for towels and they told me to come get them. It was a beautiful property but subpar service.

This is the 2nd time in a month we have stayed at this location for baseball tournaments. The rooms are clean and spacious but I just don't understand why they can't find sheets that fit the beds. The fitted sheets are barely on the mattress and can pop off in the middle of the night. We had to keep the room temperature at 64 as the entire building was insanely hot. There is no AC in common areas or hallways so the hallways were easily 90 degrees as the heat index was 110 this weekend. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Check in can take far longer than necessary depending on who is behind the desk. Breakfast is overpriced and we weren't impressed, same with the bar. 1 glass of Lamarca prosecco almost covered the price of the bottle butit is a hotel and that's expected.

Our room was nice and well sized. Lighting was a bit low and the vent in the bathroom didn't work, however, overall it was a very nice stay. Loved having the hot tub available?

Room was as expected and clean. Beds were fine. Not enough towels. I went to the front desk to request extra pillows and did eventually receive but before that the clerk looked at me, gave an audible large sigh then said I have to go downstairs to get them. Breakfast the next morning was worse than the free breakfast we had earlier in the week. We were also charge extra charges on our credit card but that was taken care of the following week after contacting a manager. I would stay elsewhere next time in the area.
