Ramla Bay Resort

A truly lovely stay at Ramla bay resort Staff were great , breakfast was good with a varied choice , room and sea view was second to none , absolutely beautiful.

Still under construction, we knew this hotel is work in progress. Beautiful location, but remote from everything. We had a panoramic suite and half board. Great room, very spacious, views of Comino and Gozo. Close to ferry terminal to Gozo. I was expecting the food to be something special, sadly it was very average. A strange choice of dishes, much of it lacking in taste. The reception staff were good, but at times you had to wait 15 mins to speak to someone as only 1 or 2 staff. Nice pool and spa. Some activities or pool exercise would be good. Small gymn for big hotel but ok, at least it has one. On the whole Ramla bay is ok. Amazing panoramic balcony and suite, views great. Food disappointing, cleanliness excellent. If you want away from it all for a week.

lovely staff and rooms - needs more restaurants . Not a smoker myself but a smoking area sign was erected whilst i was there , around the pool - it appeared to be a naughty step ? does not demonstrate equality or diversity - more so when the pool toilets ( women’s) doors would not lock properly and a constantly leaking sink - dangerous

Lovely little place - I was upgraded and got amazing views. Receptionist was so nice and helpful. Generally very happy and impressed. It is a little out of the way but that's kind of what I liked about it.

We took advantage of the reduced prices due to the building work and were also offered a very good priced upgrade from a superior sea view to a panoramic sea view suite. Well worth it as it’s huge and the balcony offered stunning sea views all around inc Comino and Gozo. It really would benefit from having a couple of sun loungers rather than just table and chairs. An awful lot of money must have been spent on the new part of the hotel but we did find it a bit soulless, probably due to not many people being around. Our suite was quite minimalist and could do with a bit of softening such as putting a few cushions on the sofa. Even so it was fantastic, especially for the price and the coffee machine delivered a very decent coffee. The fully stocked complimentary mini bar was a nice touch and more than we could get through for our 3 night stay. Breakfast was a highlight and offered a huge selection of food from the hot inc scrambled eggs, omelette, sausages, bacon, tomatoes, beans to the cold inc fresh fruit, yoghurt, cold meats/cheese, salad, various breads and homemade traditional biscuits, cakes and on 2 days we got apple crumble which was a bit random but utterly delicious. 2 self serve machines dispensed the juice and coffee which was decent though I’d liked to have seen a decaf option rather than just a jar of instant decaf coffee. All the staff are very attentive and friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here if you can get it at a reduced price!

Great hotel in an excellent location. Especially if you spend a lot of time on Gozo. Views were amazing from our room. We booked a panoramic suite which was huge!! Would definitely recommend. Pool area, general areas and restaurants were really clean.Parking was bumpy and not great for the tiny car we hired. Would stay again and recommend

Lovely hotel its pretty new and construction is ongoing it's pretty remote not much in terms of bars shopping close by it's about 10 minute walk to the bus stop and bus service is good and it isn't far to find shops, bars and restaurants The hotel has on site facilities for everything you need The food in hotel is very good we went half board any enjoyed the buffet style breakfast and dinner one small complaint was the hot food went cold very quickly the plate warmers didn't seem to be working. Staff were excellent any nothing was too much trouble. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as location is stunning

Great sea view from panoramic suite. Very spacious. Clean room. Coffee machine wasn’t working. Some days the towels weren’t brought to our rooms and weren’t clean.
