The Ritz-Carlton, Doha

I was unsure about staying here as the outside of the building looks a little dated, but it's decorated very nicely inside. The lifts work really smoothly for a big hotel. Huge rooms rooms, that are very clean, with a big rainfall shower and nice Diptyque toiletries. Only negative of the room is the small balcony with one chair, but not a big deal. Breakfast is fantastic - incredible selection and service. It's like dining at a Michelin star restaurant at times. Staff like Dila are great. Proper coffee, on a La Marzocco machine, and eggs to order, smoothies, homemade pastries, granola, fruit etc. Dinner is OK - not bad, but not amazing. Free water and soft Kids areas is a nice addition, plus they put a tent in room for kids and there's also movie nights. Staff like Lubna are great in the kids club. Outdoor pool areas could do with a refresh, but lots of pools and waterfall is a nice touch. Indoor pool is fantastic. Spa area is seriously lux. Overall a great experience: luxury rooms, superb service and excellent breakfast.

This hotel is one of the most luxurious hotels in Doha. It has an excellent location and comfortable rooms with excellent amenities. The breakfast is sumptuous with variety of options for all tastes. The service is unparalleled.

We spent 3 nights at the Ritz Carlton Doha in February. The location was great and the hotel is very elegant and welcoming . The room we had was large and had a lovely view of the marina. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable with very good amenities. I was looked after very well be Eric the food and beverage manager in Lagoon restaurant, as I am gluten and dairy free, and this was no problem. There was plenty of choice for me . All the team in the restaurant were very friendly and Weal was particularly helpful. Eating in the Tent restaurant in the evening was a wonderful experience during Ramadan. The atmosphere in the ballroom was great with the musicians. The food was delicious . We enjoyed the pool area and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. Overall we loved our stay and were fortunate to leave 3 days before the war trouble started, but sure things would not have changed too much.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Doha was genuinely amazing from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and what impressed us most was the personal touch. From the moment we arrived, they knew our children’s names and made all of us feel welcome and valued. It created a very warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. We stayed in a suite which had a lovely view and plenty of space for the four of us. It made a big difference having the extra room, and we felt very comfortable throughout the stay. The food was excellent, and we especially enjoyed eating at The Tent. The live music in the evenings created a very relaxed atmosphere and made meals there even more enjoyable. What impressed us most was the staff. Everyone was friendly and professional, and you could tell they genuinely cared. Small things they did each day made a big difference and didn’t go unnoticed. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would happily recommend The Ritz-Carlton Doha, especially for families. We would definitely return.

My family and I enjoyed a truly wonderful Ramadan Iftar at The Ritz-Carlton Doha. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, the venue was impeccably clean, and the variety of dishes was impressive and absolutely delicious. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. A special thanks to Ms. Ikram for her outstanding service, positive attitude, and constant smile. She paid attention to every detail and made our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend The Ritz-Carlton Doha for anyone looking to enjoy a remarkable Iftar experience with family.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful service - very much the standard you would expect from The Ritz Carlton. The communication with the hotel prior to arrival was excellent. The hotel proactively checked my arrival time, preferences and requirements weeks in advance. We arrived early and were escorted to the Club Lounge for check in and breakfast. Fortunately, our room was ready a short time later and we were free to explore the hotel. Club level at The Ritz Carlton is by far the best of all the hotel chains, in terms of service, comfort, food selection, beverages and having facilities available around the clock (albeit more limited late evening). Ramadan placed restrictions on the availability of ‘enhanced beverages’ (alcohol) but this was to be expected. Alcohol could be delivered to your room but not consumed in the lounge during this time. Another nice touch is the restriction in the club lounge to over 21’s. Bliss. The amenities were excellent, the pool had plenty of loungers, the food was exceptionally good. The gym was large and well equipped. The beach is accessed over a walk way and is apart from the main hotel. Carts are on hand to ferry people around the hotel complex if required. Not able to walk anywhere from the hotel but taxis were freely available and inexpensive. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Very quiet rooms and very comfortable beds. The only suggestion, would be larger bath robes. Even the large robes are not big enough to wrap around an average sized individual. First world problems. Very enjoyable stay at an amazing hotel.

Spotless and awe-inspiring and one of the premier hotels in Doha. But like the rest of the experience in the country, artificial and sterile - an oddly Disney-esque version of leisure and luxury. You have to look hard to find authenticity but your hotel suite will be immaculately presented and your food and service will excel. Many people will love it here. Not for me.

Had the wonderful experience of staying at Ritz Doha for 1 week in December/January and it was sooo good. We transit through Qatar airport a lot during our travels so this time we decided to go in for a few days, and we did not know what to expect as this was our first visit. This stay exceeded any expectations we might have had and big part of it was this hotel. The hotel is very grand, and we loved the fact the once you're out of your room you get to see the whole hotel from the inside because of the brilliant design of the hotel interior. The staff were one of the most professional we experienced on our travels, and that was evident because during our stay it was very busy with Christmas and new year's, but there were never a wait more than few minutes. Special mention to the teams at Lagoon breakfast restaurant and the beach because of how organised they were with the waiting lists and the service in general. Room was on the smaller side particularly for storage but wasn't a big deal, we mainly loved the bed and the toiletries. High tea at the lobby was an experience, we highly recommend it. Spa facilities were top-notch and very clean. The weakest point for this hotel is the outdoors pool, we did not manage to check it because it was always so busy but again I'm aware that most of the year this isn't a problem because of how hot it gets, and they have quite a large indoor pool too, beach was nice though. Food and service were Ritz level. Overall we had a memorable time in Doha, thank you, Ritz, for making it this good, we'd surely visit Doha again and Ritz in the future.
