Campanile Hotel - Birmingham

Absolutely appalled by this hotel. I arrived at about quarter to 11 after working and having to drive down. I had booked a room but when I arrived I was told “we haven’t got a room for you”. When I asked what they were going to do about it I just got given really poor attitude. I understand it is not the receptionists fault but surely they have a duty of care to not just turn you away and to help find an alternative. As a woman in her early 20s alone in the middle of a city I don’t know to be given a “what do you want us to do about it” attitude I think is appalling.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast good value for money. Easy walk along the canal to city centre

Hotel pictures taken from very flattering angles. Room much smaller than anticipated. Staff on site extremely courteous. We arrived at night, and the hotel felt situated in a very poorly lit, quite intimidating area.

Good hotel, we've stayed for business

It was a bit pricey for what it was, but served its purpose. Free parking was nice and the bathroom was nice (great shower) But the room itself was ok, Breakfast was well priced but again nothing special. Staff seem more concerned in talking to each other then making guests feel confortable and wanted. It gave more of a Hostel vibe but at a hotel price. Overall very average.

Very noisy location next to duel carriage way and roundabout. Set in industrial estate setting, no near local amenities or restaurants. Parking was extremely limited and frustrated as the hotel seemingly lets autoglass vans depot use the vast majority of its bays. So parking for residents was very poor.

Really nice bright hotel view fro. Room was canal. Only downside was room was a little too warm

Nice hotel and room was clean and comfortable. Wasn’t too loud. Breakfast selection is good and staff are friendly
