La Maison Hôtel Mulhouse Centre

We had a pretty poor experience at La Maison Hotel. I’d honestly give it one star. We ended up booking it on our way back from Italy to the Netherlands because our original hotel was fully booked, and unfortunately, this one was not only much more expensive but also much worse. Our room was on the fourth floor, right under a slanted roof, and it was boiling hot. The air conditioning was broken, and their “compensation” was a busted fan that didn’t work either. We couldn’t leave the window fully open because it had no safety latch, which meant it was actually dangerous—if the kids leaned out too far, they could fall right from the fourth floor. So we had to keep it shut. The shower was dirty, the room was dusty, and the tap water was either scorching hot or freezing cold—no normal temperature for a comfortable shower. Breakfast was hit or miss: the French bread was nice, but the rest of the fresh items were covered in flies and fruit flies, which was really gross. The only positive thing I can say is that the hotel is nicely located in the center, so you can walk straight out into town. Other than that, it was an experience we’d rather forget.

We hadden de familie kamer en deze was zeer ruim, alleen wel erg warm. Er stond een ventilator maar met een buiten temperatuur van 30 graden deed dat weinig. Verder vonden we het jammer en eigenlijk een beetje gek dat het tweepersoonsbed zo klein was, gelet op het formaat van de kamer. Verder was de badkamer wel erg gedateerd. Het ontbijt was geweldig en overvloedig. De eetzaal was superleuk ingericht met al het verschillende servies en bestek, kleurrijk en vrolijk. Personeel was ook zeer vriendelijk.

Unfortunately, it’s probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed at. The air conditioning did not work, and it seemed like there was no attempts to try and make the stay more pleasant…for example: give breakfast vouchers, provide fans, give ice water.

Personal bei Ankunft und beim Frühstück wirklich super. Problemlose Unterbringung unserer Fahrräder. Zimmer auch in Ordnung bis auf die Dusche in einer Wanne. Keinerlei Duschabtrennung. Entweder minimalst duschen oder Raum geflutet. Wir waren im 4. Stock direkt gegenüber einer Partyfläche im oberen Stockwerk von H & M. Am Samstag Party bis nach Mitternacht mit dauerhaft voller Lautstärke. Übel.

Personnel au top et nous avons été surclassés car petit souci de climatisation. Petit déjeuner tres bien. Merci a toute l'équipe pour sa gentillesse.
