Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel

Great stay

I booked online a room with garden view. They gave me a room in the old building which seems like a prison, the furniture was so old, the bathroom unclean, the electricity plug was broken, everything not well maintained and not matching the photos in the advert. The old building is like a guest house with no lift !! I asked to move to the new building, so they asked me to pay more to be upgraded. I showed them the pictures on Agoda website, so they apologised and gave me a room with Nile view. I don't care about the Nile view. All that I need a clean room matching a hotel 4 stars !! All the rooms should be the same! In the new room, there was a leak in the bathroom's ceiling ! And the bathroom was wet all the day !! We mentioned this to the reception, but nothing changed !! No one fixed during our stay (3 nights!) Then, I asked for an iron (as all the hotels that I used to go have iron in the room), but they said no; as they offer laundry service and they can iron my dress for £90 !! And wait one day till be ironed !! The breakfast, the boiled egg was grey from the inside which means they are not fresh! And the tomato was spoiled !! We paid double the price the surroundings hotels offer, but I did not get what I expected!!

Poor food options

Very good place to stay in Luxor.

The hotel was very secure with security at the gates and x-ray for baggage at the entrance. The lobby is quite large, with a restaurant, gift shop and station to arrange transportation. The food was good. Our room was nice, but not quite as cool as we would like. The rug in our room was pretty dirty and had not been cleaned in a long time. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Great stay for the price. Staff were very attentive. Would stay again.

Great location just in front of Nile River and around lot of good restaurants.

Nice hotel. Room was clean, sheets clean, bathroom was clean unlike some reviews have noted. Excellent buffet breakfast that starts at 530am. Walking distance to museum and luxor temple. On the promenade. As mentioned by others, you can't walk out of the property without getting hassled but that is a problem in Luxor anywhere you go! You can't walk down the promenade in peace!

Spacious large 4 star hotel with excellent staff and food. Fast check in at reception. Bedrooms very clean with tea,coffee and kettle provided.Most upgraded rooms have River Nile views. Beautiful gardens and inviting large swimming pool. Hotel has a large gym which is free for guests to use. Guest Relations Managers Ali and GiGi ensure a good stay. Hotel has a number of Restaurants available with numerous shops by Reception for guests. Relaxing bar to enjoy a drink in the evenings. Food is very tasty at excellent prices. I highly recommend this Hotel for a full sighseeing base or a relaxing Resort Hotel to enjoy the sun.

The property provided a great view of the Nile, which was honestly the best part. The room was fairly spacious but nothing over the top.
